#AskDEC

One of the most important elements during a DEC appeal is answering questions from the public about the appeal. We ran a multi platform live stream event that started an open and honest discussion with the people that donate to the DEC. It all began with a callout film.

Tune into our YouTube channel tomorrow at 7pm to see our live Q&A where anyone can get answers to questions about the DEC #NepalQuake appeal. Our panel will be answering questions submitted to Facebook and Twitter so you can check out the links below to submit your own!

We had a great response, with people signing up to the event on G+ and Facebook. Questions flew in from across all platforms and were fed to the panel to discuss. The actual live stream lasted over 40 minutes, and we had some great comments. Here are a series of snippets of hot-topic questions that have high share value.

Watch to see Oenone Chadburn (from Tearfund) discuss the answer to this question with Saleh Saeed (DEC), Brendan Paddy (DEC), Tanya Barron (Plan UK) and Cat Carter (Save the Children).
